Guest Presenter: Simon Woolf

This week we are privileged to have Simon Woolf presenting to us. Simon
should need no introduction – he is an accomplished and widely respected
photographer. And the Woolf family has been associated with photography
in Wellington and New Zealand for decades

Club Meeting – 13 June 2012

A heads up about the next challenge. The third challenge is for our
meeting on the 13th June, and the topic is Animals.

To recap, Each member provides six images. The rest of the
group choose the best three, which are then used for the end of year
presentation.

A couple of requests.

Can people please size images to 1280px on the longest side?

Can people please name images as follows?

All Woman – A Modern Portrait of New Zealand Women

Bev has kindly organised a viewing for us. Details are as follows:

What All Woman – A Modern Portrait of New Zealand Women
Who Bev Short
Where New Zealand Portrait Gallery, Shed 11, Wellington Waterfront
When Tuesday 22nd May, 5pm for 5:15pm.

Again this is an opportunity not to be missed. Both because of the
images on display and because Bev will be there as well.

This will replace the meeting that was to have been on the
Wednesday.

As we will be starting earlier, I am sure there will be an opportunity
to adjourn somewhere nearby afterwards.

Club Meeting – 9 May 2012

Guest Presenter: Camus Wyatt

This week Camus Wyatt will be presenting to. Not only is Camus a very
capable photographer in his own right, but his understanding and
knowledge of the craft of photoography are really impressive.

Once again we are in for an educating and thoughtful evening,
one not to be missed.

Unfortunately I am going to miss the meeting as I will be in Melbourne.
So Bill Leask will be acting as host for the evening with support from
Heuchan.

Club Meeting – 24 April 2012

A reminder about this week’s meeting. First and foremost there is a
change to our regular schedule as Anzac Day occurs this week. So the
meeting is on

TUESDAY 24th

at the usual time of 19:30 at the Arts and Crafts Centre.

Secondly, this is our second challenge of the year. This time the topic
is Hands. To recap, Each member provides six images. The rest of the
group choose the best three, which are then used for the end of year
presentation.

Finally, I will be down in Invercargill for the PSNZ National
Convention. So Hugh Davies has kindly been volunteered to conduct
