A reminder about this week’s meeting. First and foremost there is a
change to our regular schedule as Anzac Day occurs this week. So the
meeting is on

TUESDAY 24th

at the usual time of 19:30 at the Arts and Crafts Centre.

Secondly, this is our second challenge of the year. This time the topic
is Hands. To recap, Each member provides six images. The rest of the
group choose the best three, which are then used for the end of year
presentation.

A couple of requests.

Can people please size images to 1024px on the longest side?

Can people please name images as follows?

Finally, I will be down in Invercargill for the PSNZ National
Convention. So Hugh Davies has kindly been volunteered to conduct
proceedings 🙂

Guest Presenter: Jordyn O’Keefe

This week we are privileged to have Jordyn presenting to us. We are in
for an educating and thoughtful evening, one not to be missed.

Start time is 7:30 p.m.
Karori Arts and Crafts Centre (Newman Centre)

This is the second outing of the year. And this time we are going to do
the Railway station. I suggest that we meet at 6:30 pm – that way we
might be able to catch some light and the tail end of the commuters.

Where: Wellington Railway Station, meet at the front
When: Wed 28th March, 18:30 (note the earlier start time)

We will shoot for about an hour and a half or so and then convene back
at the front of the station.

We had a good turnout for the Cuba Street outing two weeks ago.

At this week’s meeting we would like to see the results. So if you could
please bring along your images from the outing, we will take a look.

We will also kick off the challenges for the year. We will also be
showing the presentation of last year’s challenge.

And last but not least, this is the time of the year that we have to
pay our membershiop dues. So Heuchan will be collecting them at this
meeting.

There are two components:

* the Karori Arts and Crafts membership ($25 per person or $40 per
couple)
* the Camera Club contribution to help cover speakers’ costs and provide
for projector wear and tear. ($10).
